The liturgical ministries are the collective groups that have for their primary existence functions that are directly concerned with the liturgical life of the parish. Let us pray for the work of the parish, that we may always keep our eyes on Jesus and grow as one holy, loving family.

Lectors

Lectors or Ministers of the Word proclaim the First and Second Readings at Sunday Mass.  The parish provides basic instruction.  The Diocese of Hamilton offers a one-day training seminar yearly in November that new lectors should attend. Lectors must be confirmed members of the Catholic Church in good standing.  Parishioners of all ages are welcome.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist have the privilege of feeding their brothers and sisters with the Body of Christ during the Sunday Eucharist. Required yearly training is provided by the Diocese.  Additional practical training takes place in the Parish.  Extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist must be confirmed members of the Catholic Church in good standing.

Children's Liturgy of the World

The Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place at 9:00 a.m. during Sunday Mass from September to June.
