Prayer Shawl Ministry
On March 23, 2015 the Prayer Shawl Ministry started at Our Lady of Lourdes. Prayer shawls bring comfort, healing and peace to those who receive them as they are fashioned with prayers and love. They can be given to anyone in need of comfort, whether for a physical or mental illness, stress, etc.
There are shawls for men, women, children, babies and baptisms.
Each shawl comes with an attached medallion of Our Lady of Lourdes as well as a bookmark depicting Our Lady and a special prayer.

As you know, we are not able to do any of this without supporters like you. We would greatly appreciate any help you can provide, as in the items below.
Full Skeins of Yarn
Should be easy care 4 ply (no wool, silk, alpaca, or cotton so that shawls can machine wash and dry)
Monetary Gifts
Please put in an envelope marked Prayer Shawls. It can also be deposited in the offertory collection basket at any mass.
